The Lanning's Leap Series

“I’m Misha. Say it, please. I want to hear you say my name.” Her breathless reply had him grinning. “Not Mr. Lanning. Misha. Say it, Hannah. Say my name so I can kiss you properly.”

“I don’t know-how. Know how to kiss at all.” He brushed his mouth over hers, happy with her confession. “You should stop now.”

He ran his tongue over her lips and watched as she ran her own over her lips as if she were tasting him there. With a small groan, he took her lower lip into his mouth and suckled it until she put her hand on his arm. Her breathless “Don’t” made him want more.

Thomas Lanning likes things neat and orderly. He bought the house he grew up in and just about has everything remodeled the way he wants it. He's happy with the house and wants a mate someday...that day isn't today.

Linyah pops in to meet the Lanning Leap, she is expected, just not today. The last thing she expects to find is a huge handsome male who takes one look at her and he gets pissed off.

"This day just went from good to shit in a matter of heartbeats, didn't it? I don't suppose you have a mate, do you?" She shook her head. "Of course not. That would just make it too nice and easy. I wonder what else is in store for me. Plague? The bank goes belly up?"

Linyah took a step back when he took one toward her. "I need to touch you."

"Thomas?" He turned them both to his mom. "Thomas, is she your mate? Is this your mate?"

Linyah isn't any happier than Thomas is. She has been very successful in avoiding any entanglements with a male until now. She has even managed to avoid, Timmer, a forced arrangement brought on by her sister, their Queen.

Even though Thomas isn't happy about Linyah's arrival, he's even less happy about Timmer. Linyah's his mate...

Timmer's been promised Linyah's hand by the Queen and isn't about to take "no" for an answer...

Dane Murphy, Murph to her friends, had always been special. Not only smart, she had…abilities. Abilities that would make her a target.

While attending college at fifteen, she’d formed a deep friendship with Rider Lanning. He was the brother she never had and one of the few people she knew she could trust…. They hadn’t spoken in years. How did he know to contact her now? The gunshot wound was bad…she wouldn’t last much longer…. She wanted to tell him that she’d left him everything…the money…the houses…. She was too weak, she lost the connection before she could tell him about the most important thing…take care of her son.

Carter Lanning had withdrawn from his family. The rescue mission where they had to recover a busload of children from a mudslide had taken a toll on him emotionally. He hadn’t expected the little girl he pulled out of the mud to be alive only to die in his arms. She haunted his dreams…she’d called him Daddy and died.

Carter knew that Rider’s friend was in critical condition in their Leap’s medical facility. They had taken her there to keep her hidden from whoever shot her. What surprised him was that the boy Rider had in the cafeteria carried the scent of his mate.

Carter had a mate…and a son. He couldn’t be happier. They would be his forever. They would do as he says and he would protect them always….

“My family are leopards, and not without the means to keep you safe. You’ve met Linyah and the rest of my family. We can help you, but you’re going to have to listen to every word I say from now on.”

Saying nothing, she turned from him. He was an ass and full of himself. If he thought that she’d been just sitting around waiting for him to come along and rescue her and Max, he was dumber than the people who thought she’d give up without a fight.

Phillip Lanning is beyond tired. The jobs they've been doing with their search and rescue company are just draining him. He needs a break and isn't sure how to tell his brothers that he's burnt out. When Nic appears in his apartment to tell him of another mission, this one happens to be his mate, and she's sick to boot, Nic tells him that the only way she'll live is if he converts her into a leopard. She doesn't have much time left. Phillip doesn't know what to think.

Charleston Grant, better known as Charlie, knows her days are numbered. The tumor's pressing on her optic nerve and the doctors aren't giving her long. And when she fell into possession of a coded book, she and her mom became a target. Charlie just wants to get her mom to safety before she dies. Nic tells her he can help her with that, to go with the Lannings and everything will work out.

When Charlie wakes, she knows something is off. She was supposed to die, but instead, she can see. And the story she gets about shifters and immortality has her head spinning. Not to mention finding out that her mother isn't really her mother and her life to this point has been one big lie. And the woman she's been protecting has sold her out...Charlie is at her wit's end. Now a surprise visitor, a fate, shows up and says that Charlie and Phillip were never supposed to meet...she had gone to great lengths to make sure of it...now both Charlie and Phillip are pissed. Who does this woman thinks she is?

The fate, Sonya, needs Charlie out of the way. She needs all the mates out of the way. None of the Lannings were supposed to find their mates, much less reproduce. When she is queen she'll make sure they're all destroyed...

Andrew Lanning was happy when they shut down the family search and rescue business. He hated it because it was rarely ever a rescue, just bodies and that was too depressing. But now he had to find something else to do. Being a man of leisure left him too much time to get into trouble, so he purchased a floundering cable company to occupy his time. But when he started poking around the business, the things he found made no sense. The sales, all of them, stemmed from one computer and there were over a hundred employees….

Laci Wintermute was caught in the middle of what she thought was a grocery store robbery but found out quickly that she was the target of the would-be robbers all along. What she couldn’t figure out was why. And those idiots weren’t the only ones after her either, they didn’t seem to stop coming. So she did the only thing she knew to do―she ran. She ran until she ran out of money, acquired an assumed name, and took a job at a small cable company….

The fate, Sonya, was determined to destroy the Lanning family, even from the grave….

Graham was just trying to make her father happy. She didn’t know what his obsession with the Lanning family was, but she would go with him to visit the Lanning's to appease him. The last thing she expected to find there was a mate, and it seemed her father knew all along. Graham was beyond pissed—she was set up.

Rider just wanted her to go away before he could claim her. It had been foretold that when he found his mate, that the one hunting them would find them and many of the Lanning family could die as a result. He didn’t want to lose anyone, especially his mate. He would die himself before he let that happen.

Their nemesis Sonya’s reach was long, even from the grave. But even her death won’t stop what’s coming. She started the wheels of fate turning centuries ago, and they’re picking up speed. Can all the Lanning's come together to stop it before it’s too late? Find out in the conclusion to the Lanning’s Leap Series—Rider.
